Your baby should be able to visually track a toy and rotate the head fully to the right and left without rotating the trunk.
Your baby should be able to comfortably allow movement of the head into lateral flexion to the right and left without displaying tension or signs of discomfort.
Your baby should be able to perform a tucking of the chin when pulled to sitting, and maintain this activation as they return to lying on the back.
Assisting with tummy time can be done using a rolled blanket under the armpits and helping to lift the trunk with your hands. Providing a visual cue in front of the baby is always helpful as well.
