Your baby should be increasing activity and participation in tummy time – pushing through the arms, lifting and rotating the head to interact with the environment.
Assisting with tummy time can be done using a rolled blanket under the armpits and helping to lift the trunk with your hands. Providing a visual cue in front of the baby is always helpful as well.
Your baby should be able to reflexively accept weight into the legs when held in a supported standing position.
Your baby should be able to complete a roll from the back to the belly in both directions.
Your baby should be able to maintain extension during tummy time, which visualizing tracking a toy in both directions.
Your baby should be able to perform head righting to the right and left symmetrically when tilted in space.
While not sitting independently yet, your baby should be able to control the head and participate in trunk control when placed in a supported sitting position.
Your baby should maintain the ability to move freely and symmetrically into both right and left lateral flexion.
