UPDATED COVID-19 POLICIES

CWJR is considered an essential service which means the clinic will open on Monday, May 4.

The health and safety of our patients remains at the forefront of all that we do. Over the past two months, our staff has undergone intensive training based on CDC recommendations. As a result, CWJR developed intensive cleaning and safety protocols.

Below are a few of the precautions we are taking to keep everyone safe:

Providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Our staff will be dressed with the highest quality of personal protective equipment we have available.

This includes:

  • Face masks,
  • Goggles/face shields
  • Gowns
  • Gloves, as appropriate

All staff, patients and necessary caregivers in the building will be asked to wear a mask unless they have a condition or circumstance that does not allow them to do so.

Enhanced Cleaning Procedures:

Around our clinic, we have provided additional supplies for hygiene such as hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes. In addition to increasing the amount of times we are cleaning frequently touched surfaces, we will be using EPA-certified cleaning agents as listed on the CDC’s website. Modifications To Our Clinic:

CWJR is dividing our 10,000 sq/ft building into sections to honor the 6-foot social distancing rule.

Minimizing Number of Patients in One Area

We will also minimize the number of people within the treatment areas in order to provide ample space between different patients who are also in therapy.

Temporary Closure of our Lobby

We will be eliminating the usage of our lobby for the time being and ask that everyone waits in their cars unless a parent/caregiver is permitted for safety reasons. A therapist will escort you or your loved one into the clinic through different entrances throughout the building and will return to the vehicle following their session(s).

Increased Number of Hand Sanitizer Dispensers

We have also installed over 25 hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the clinic, including one at each entrance and within each treatment room.

Screening and Temperature Checks of Patients and Staff:

When confirming patient appointments our team will conduct a series of screening questions over the phone. Upon arrival, a staff member will ask the questions will be asked again and the temperature of the patient will be taken. After completion of a successful screening the patient will be brought in for treatment. Our staff will also be participating in the same process.

While we are excited to reopen and begin providing therapy to our patients, we are respectful of their decisions to return, or not to return. CWJR is here for our patients whenever they feel more comfortable to return.
